I am a demonstrator because I love stamping and meeting people who enjoy stamping, too. I like making money at something as fun as Stampin' Up! I signed up in September 1995 because I had just left my job to raise my children and I wanted to have a few nights a week doing something fun and getting out of the house. After my first workshops, I got bookings and the business took off. Before I knew it I had my first recruit. I attended Convention that summer and was inspired to set a goal to earn a cruise and build my team. I met both goals! After that, I fit my business into my life of raising my daughters. At one point, when my family needed my time and I knew that I could not put as much time into my business as I had previously, I decided to just enjoy the stamping hobby and stay active as a demonstrator. I liked all the benefits of being a demonstrator such as the discount, being able to order new items before they are available to my customers, attending the convention and other events, and meeting people who share my passion for creativity. For a while I taught full time at a technical college and fit my Stampin’ Up! business around my teaching job. Now I am back to being a full time demonstrator and it is great to earn extra money doing what I love!
